Downloaded Chessmaster: Grandmaster edition and started to learn how to be good from it's Academy option... Despite learning so many tactics and strategies (Skewering, pinning, forking etc etc), i realised i still suck. mainly because i CAN see h0w to use the tactics on a clear board, but when it comes to a proper game, i can't. I will do stupid stuff like move my knight to check the king, somehow STUPIDLY ignoring the big fat pawn there ready to eat it.
Practise. Patience.
