coward. Yes.
I have never been able to stand the horror genre and i scare extremely easily, ever since i woke up in the middle of the night when i was 8 and saw something drifting outside my window, the shadow clearly defined behind the curtain. I was on the 7th floor.
Since then, i have been unable to stand anything related to horror. When my friends invite me to watch a horror movie, i bear with it, i grit my teeth as hard as i can and pretend to drop something so i can not look at the screen.
When i play horror games... lol...
Silent Hill: The Room - I didn't even play half an hour of this. This is the most frightening of the games i ever play. Not because of what it does, but what it doesnt do. In most horror games, when there is a prolonged period of silence, one knows a ghost is going to jump out, in Silent Hill, they have ALOT of these silences. Worse still, nothing comes out. So you start to relax.. and when u do, BOOM!
Doom 3 - I couldnt bring myself to finish it, the whole torchlight thing creeps me out, especially since u cant shoot AND shine ur torchlight, so its either u look at the thing defenseless, or shoot it in the dark, in which case, its right up to ur face.
Half Life - I can't remember why i don't play it, but i know i was spooked.
I recall being traumatised when i was young by a particular horror movie. It's abt these pregnant ladies that have demon babies. My sister is frightened of horror movie, so she always makes me watch with her. But she loved that particular one. Can u imagine watching demon babies claw their way out, all bloody, when ure like 7, over and over and over again? i swear a part of me died at that point.
Fun fact: I am usually unable to sleep for up to 2 hours after the end of a horror movie.
