Life's short.

Lets start by discussing the off-topic first. For loyal readers of my blog (as if there's any), you'd have noticed the change in background and the song choice. I changed the song from Daughtry's Over You to Timbaland and One Republic's Apologize. Here are the lyrics:

Personally, i feel the lyrics are super deep.. lol, and it is my favourite song at the moment... ^^

So anyway, back to the main point. Just recently, one of my best friend's mother passed away, which really saddened me because that friend was a really good friend of mine and as such, did not deserve such misfortune to happen.

It also really got me thinking about my own life. I'm 18 years old, a student of Republic Polytechnic, an aspiring writer or teacher. But so far, what have i really done that deserves special mention?

Nothing. My life thus far has been very pointless and nothing great had been accomplished. Life is too short to be useless... But the weird thing is that, having just said that, i know i won't really do anything to improve myself... guess i really am too useless, too entrenched in the way of failure to improve... =P
