Sometimes, it's good to change abit.
WL, Adam, confirm with you all, im not going for her, not my type.
Many many posts ago, i wrote about buses. best times to ride them, best seats. Now im going to talk about GETTING ON the bus.
When the bus door opens, there are two ways you can go in, the left stairs and the right stairs. which to take? You might say the right stairs, because its nearer to the seat. That is true. HOWEVER, you have to keep in mind the person infront of you. (this is where the crap my mom taught me about queueing in supermarkets comes into play)
However, you have to keep in mind the following things im about to say, Anticipation is very important. If the bus stop too far ahead, it'll be almost impossible for u to use the left stairs and vice versa. The following tips assume that the bus has stopped directly infront of you, with the choice of left or right stairs both equal. Refer to previous posts on best positioning tips.
1st tip, AFR. it stands for Always Favor Right. Ceteris paribus, the right side is the best. However, situations are not always the same on both set of stairs.
If the person in front of you is old or fat, use the other stairs. The probability that they will be slow is very high. In this case, using left stairs will advance you 2-3 space ahead in the queue!
If it's a guy, look at his hand, is his wallet or ezlink card already in his hand? if so, follow him.
Never follow a banglah. Not being rascist. Just that they almost always 1)dont have a ezlink card. 2) keep asking the bus driver how much change they need to give.
This might be pushing it, but if you want to compete in Getting On The Bus Olympics, you also need to look at the person 2-3 spaces in front of you. Why?
Because you are on the sidewalk, person in front of u is on the stairs. person after that is at the ezlink card reader. he might f*** up here, wasting valuable time.
You might be thinking "This is such a bullshit post, whats the point of getting on the bus so fast?" You're half right, THIS IS A BULLSHIT POST. However, this post will get you on the bus faster, and that means you have a greater selection of choice of seats. Like arriving at the buffet early, more food to eat.
Of course, there is more to be said about this immensely deep subject, so i shall leave it here for now.
One step at a time, lets try to keep this week partial-free.
