I will miss saying “Teamwork” to poorly-executed CS moves turned good by luck.
I will miss hearing “啊民,我要吃糖.” Or “I want to eat sweet.”
I will miss the fake contaminated water sign that is on our door.
I will miss cursing and swearing as Shanthi Goma asks me yet another question.
I will miss imitating someone by saying “Basically…” with accompanying hand gestures as well as laughing through my nose.
I will miss Joyhan saying “Why everyday go W4 eat?? Go W1 la.”
I will miss helping Sean tapao jap food.
I will miss creating awesome network names like “Adam luv yanyan.”
I will miss hearing Adam say “Eeyer.” When I kill him in CS.
I will miss her smile.
I will miss hearing her say “Nonsense!” or “Joke!”
I will miss Sean kamikaze-ing us in CS.
I will miss saying “Thy will be done.” Whenever Sean asks me to do something.
I will miss phrases like “send you to msn”.
I will miss Arshad. (Who wouldn’t?)
I will miss waving to woam shing when she waves at me.
I will miss Sean’s and Aarti’s awesome debates openers.
I will miss Rick Low’s oldies songs he plays when he comes into class.
I will miss saying “typo” to every mistake we made.
I will miss the sound of Hazirah’s high-pitch laughter.
I will NOT miss the smell of cigarettes though I might miss the lemon biscuits.
So much to miss… Next up is a shoutout to the people who have really made an impact or difference in my time as a W45Her.
You-know-who-you-are: Thank you for everything. You are truly one of the most wonderful person I have ever known. I will never forget the moment I first knew you and forgot your name. I was so captivated by your smile. And that was the moment that I fell for you. Sometimes, you ask me why I fell for you, but the honest truth is that I don’t have an answer to that. I just feel it. You may or may not feel the same way as I do about you, but please know, you will always be my close friend.
Joyce: My first close friend in W45H. Thank you for being the first person I knew in the class and remaining as a close friend throughout =) I’ll miss buying 100plus for you. =D Learnt a lot about high risks things from you. Sometimes, when I’m not in the mood for anything, you’d just come along and make me laugh. What an awesome friend =)
Sean: My fellow democrat. Bro, what else can I say except you rock? I’ve never met someone I could so fully trust. I’ve never met someone so skilled at gaming and at the same time be able to stand up and wow us all with a fantastic debate opener. (Remember one enterprise debate we did? I was so engrossed by your opening statement that I forgot quite a lot of what I wanted to say.) I’ll miss the times when we just chill and have fun. Feel free to come talk to me about whatever problems you have or just to kill me in CS, alright?
Adam/”Amy”: Eeyer… My FM partner… First guy I ever knew to be sooo damn lame yet sooo damn funny at the same time. I’ll miss all the times we laughed together. Keep laughing, brother, and keep your Arsenal at the top.
Joyhan/对面的男孩: I will never forget when I first met you. You were so “dao”. It was the first day of school and I was first, as usual, and when you came in, I said good morning, but you just ignored me. And for a few weeks, none of us ever heard you talking except during presentations. But now leh, so noisy. Want ask you shut up also cannot la… But that’s a good thing, because, like Adam, you also got a lot of jokes, always make us laugh.
Wei Liang/ “Liang eh”/ “William”: Dook ci dook ci, stoom stoom stoom! The “花心之男” of our group. Your jokes uh, always soo lame one, like the 年糕 one. Also, got problem also can come find you, even though sometimes ur advise cannot apply to me, because our pattern is different, but at least got someone listen luh.
Aarti: Another of my really trusted friends whom I have no qualms about telling my secrets to. I’ll admit it, when I first knew you, I was quite intimidated because of your prowess in English. But as time passed, I realised, I didn’t need to be intimidated at all. As I told u before, u just give me the impression of trustability. I know I can rely on you if I need someone to listen to me =)
Jeremy: Basically… This might come as a surprise to you, or it might not, but I’ve never really liked you. You KS people when they present, you give facis the wrong impression that you’re some kind of angel student while you actually don’t do much work at all, preferring to read your comics or research about your games. Another thing I find despicable is that fact that you laugh when we make fun of others, but when it comes to you, you insist that we do not do it. That is a highly despicable thing to do. Even when we’re playing CS, you don’t leave us alone, muttering what I should have done instead. Well guess what? I’m the one playing, and if I lose, so be it. In case you don’t know, I deliberately gave you a flawed version of CS so you won’t be able to ruin the only Jeremy-free area that I have. And please stop saying “basically…” when you’re not even simplifying whatever it is you’re presenting. There were many times during the breaks when we went to eat or when I was just hanging out with the guys where I just wanted to tell you to f*** off because honestly, I don’t like you enough to tell you anything. I might sound harsh here, but ask yourself, don’t you think you deserve it?
Yup, this is a list of people who made an impact on my life in W45H, be it good or bad. And boy, will I miss the good ones. =/
School’s out, memories past, don’t ever doubt, our friendship shall last.
