My Ipod Paradox.

My ipod which i inherited from my brother, who won it from a lucky draw, is dying... Once it's battery runs out, it will never get charged again. I decided to take it off life support, simply due to the fact that it doesnt want it. (If you cant understand my melodramaticness, i meant "My ipod is somehow refusing to be charged")

So i thought i'd take a moment and pay it some tribute. My ipod has been with me for two years, it had its ups and downs... i decorated it with the RP H1N1 sticker collection, i played solitaire on it, was amused by the Music Quiz game on it, never used the photos function..

Here are some tunes i have on it.

From the period known as the Disney Renaissance,

The Lion King songs. Disney was so much better back in the days of the lion king, aladdin, mulan etc etc as opposed to some high school musical hannah montana crap nowadays. I grew up on simba and his pride of lions. =)

No ipod of mine is complete without some of MJ's tunes. =)

Boy band classics =)

Songs i scoured from games

Just some of the songs my ipod holds. farewell, my ipod. /salute

The Hat Trick Paradox

yes thats right, its a hat trick of partials again.

Just chilling in the library again... i love the library these days, a place i can just sit and chill, play some games, spend some quiet time alone with my thoughts.

I honestly hate what i've done to my life... if i could turn back time, i'd go back to sec 5 and listen to bastard ong's advice and study frigging hard and get into a good course that i am interested in. now, look at me, stuck in a course of no interest to me, and because of that, probably going to flunk it.

Yeah, no use complaining, right, what's done is done. 3:22 pm now.. lessons should be ending soon.. can go back to play CS with the dudes soon...

Happy birthday william!

The CS statistics Paradox

After partialling today, i chilled with raymond in the library to play WoW...

At about 4 plus, adam arrived and raymond left... At this point in time, i decided to carry out a test.

Adam and i started a "first-to-100-kills-awp_map" game. i was expecting to lose, because adam's AWP skills was always better than me, and indeed, i lost with a ratio of 73:100.

So we swapped to "first-to-100-kills-pool_day". it was very very close! but i lost again at a ratio of 93:100.

This goes to show that i was right, my CS has de-proved. and that is why im the new whipping boy in W64A.

The Freaky/Trust/Song choice Paradox.

Yesterday, my whole team partialled and we went to one of our teammate's hostel to chill. I feel like i'm starting to settle into the class a fair bit. nice people, sucky modules.

I was called by K (the name of my myanmar teammate) "freaky". Is it not a good thing to be freaky? i like being freaky...

I like the way how sometimes, small things (losing a cs match, new issue of gaming magazines) makes me excited or angry...

2nd topic. K also pointed out that i have a trust issue. It's true. I don't trust people alot. to me, there is no "middle ground" for trust, no "i trust you a little bit.". I either trust someone completely or not at all.

3rd topic. I've been questioned multiple times on my choice of songs, ranging from classical to power metal. And i came to the realisation that the genre of a song is not important to me. To me, the most important thing is that it evokes a feeling in me.

Take Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce for example. it's a power metal song but the good thing about it is that it brings out the inner gamer-nerd in me. makes me feel like some warrior fighting bad guys.

There is also a reason why the canon in D is my favourite music ever. It is what i call a "amplification" music. in that, if i'm happy, the canon in d amplifies that happiness, and if im sad, it amplifies it and makes me feel more at peace as well.

Also, some music, i keep it for certain occasions. For example, David Garrett's take on Pirates of the carribean's main theme, He's A Pirate. I keep that song for when i'm about to PvP in WoW or any other mmorpgs i play. this is because it feels very rousing, very "call to arms-y"

It's also the reason why my favourite instruments are the violin and the piano. To me, they are the most expressive instruments.

The Asher Paradox

My nephew has been given a name. Asher Goh Wei Zhe. Asher... really? O.o

But still, he's the most handsome guy alive.
