The Freaky/Trust/Song choice Paradox.

Yesterday, my whole team partialled and we went to one of our teammate's hostel to chill. I feel like i'm starting to settle into the class a fair bit. nice people, sucky modules.

I was called by K (the name of my myanmar teammate) "freaky". Is it not a good thing to be freaky? i like being freaky...

I like the way how sometimes, small things (losing a cs match, new issue of gaming magazines) makes me excited or angry...

2nd topic. K also pointed out that i have a trust issue. It's true. I don't trust people alot. to me, there is no "middle ground" for trust, no "i trust you a little bit.". I either trust someone completely or not at all.

3rd topic. I've been questioned multiple times on my choice of songs, ranging from classical to power metal. And i came to the realisation that the genre of a song is not important to me. To me, the most important thing is that it evokes a feeling in me.

Take Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce for example. it's a power metal song but the good thing about it is that it brings out the inner gamer-nerd in me. makes me feel like some warrior fighting bad guys.

There is also a reason why the canon in D is my favourite music ever. It is what i call a "amplification" music. in that, if i'm happy, the canon in d amplifies that happiness, and if im sad, it amplifies it and makes me feel more at peace as well.

Also, some music, i keep it for certain occasions. For example, David Garrett's take on Pirates of the carribean's main theme, He's A Pirate. I keep that song for when i'm about to PvP in WoW or any other mmorpgs i play. this is because it feels very rousing, very "call to arms-y"

It's also the reason why my favourite instruments are the violin and the piano. To me, they are the most expressive instruments.
